What the numbers mean for your project
Three parameters decide most selections.
Pixel pitch sets the viewing distance
Pitch is the distance between LED pixels in millimeters. A common rule of thumb: the closest comfortable viewing distance in meters is about the pitch in millimeters. P2.6 suits a lobby wall, P8 suits a roadside screen.
Finer pitch means more pixels per square meter and higher cost per area. Pick the coarsest pitch that still looks solid from where the audience stands.
Brightness separates indoor from outdoor
Our indoor series run at 800 to 1,200 nits. Outdoor fixed cabinets run at 5,000 nits and above so the image holds in daylight. Do not put an indoor panel behind sunlit glass and expect it to read.
PoE class decides the switch port
IEEE 802.3af delivers up to 12.95 W at the device. 802.3at delivers up to 25.5 W. A 10.1 inch tablet rated at 12 V / 1.5 A sits above the af budget, so plan for at ports. Larger screens need at or a DC supply.
Chipset generation decides Android version
RK3288 is a quad-core Cortex-A17 part and appears on our long-running models. RK3566 and RK3568 are quad-core Cortex-A55 and list Android 11 and later. RK3576 models ship with Android 14. If your app targets a recent API level, start from the chipset column.
Boundaries worth knowing before you ask
- Tablets ship on AOSP Android. Builds without Google Mobile Services, open ADB and custom launchers are available. Say which you need.
- IP ratings apply only where a specification lists one. The HG805G rugged tablet is listed at IP65. Wall mount tablets are indoor devices.
- Medical series tablets are information and call terminals. They are not certified medical devices.
- LED brightness, power and weight are per series and per pitch. Use the series tables, not a single headline number.
- Gaming and consumer monitors are not part of this site. We list commercial and industrial hardware only.
OEM and ODM scope
Most orders ship with a customer logo, custom boot screen and preloaded app. Hardware options are chosen per model.
